A counselor for at-risk kids and families, Jeremy understands the need for responsible public policy.

Update from the Field

"I don't think they are listening anymore." -Juan, construction workerThis weekend, Jeremy talked with a retired spanish teacher concerned about immigrant rights, a construction worker hoping for new industry, a counseling student training to work in CPS, and a stay-at-home mother upset with school cuts. Each of them voiced concerns that our leaders in Springfield are more concerned with reelection than fighting for us. These voters believe in Jeremy, but he can't knock on every door alone.

So far we have visited nearly 1,500 households in the community and talked hundreds of supporters! Our neighbors in Avondale, Hermosa and Logan Square have been overwhelmingly supportive and we're ratcheting up our door-to-door efforts weekly. This sort of progress will put us right on track to win in November. Thank you to all the hardworking volunteers who have come out.

If you have not come out yet but are ready to talk your neighbors and friends in the 39th district, please email Rebecca and she will contact you with the next canvass opportunity.
